22nd February, Mumbai: Well-known faces from the entertainment industry Shalin Bhanot, Eisha Singh and Monalisa have been roped in to play lead roles in the new fantasy drama Bekaboo. It also stars Zain Imam and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles.
Shalin Bhanot said that ‘I would like to thank my viewers for loving me so much during my stint in Bigg Boss 16. I am grateful that Ekta Kapoor offered me the lead role in Bekaboo just before I was kicked out of the house. I think I won the show even before the winner was announced.”
Talking about being a part of the show, Shalin said that “it is the first time for me to explore the fantasy revenge drama genre and I will be seen playing the role of a demon who uncovers the secrets of his lineage. is a searcher. The show is all set to reinvent the fantasy genre and take it to a whole new level on TV”
As per reports, the show revolves around two different worlds of fairies and demons. Expressing her excitement about playing the role of Pari in the show, Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani actress Eisha Singh shared, “I am thrilled to play the role of Pari. It is a dream role that marks my homecoming to the channel that pioneered the fantasy genre on television.”
On the other hand, Monalisa, who has worked in several Bhojpuri, Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu language films, said she is happy to explore a new genre and play a negative character. “I will be seen in a completely different look and I can’t wait to know what the audience thinks about it.”
Monalisa was also seen in TV shows like Nazar, Namak Isk Ka, Nach Baliye 8, Smart Jodi and many more. Bekaboo will soon air on Colors.
