Talking about the trailer of the movie so the trailer shows Naseeruddin Shah in the lead role of Akbar where he tries to find his successor for his empire so he announces that that his first born son would not be given the throne instead when the right time will come to choose his successor he will choose it among his three sons according to their competency.
And he knows it very well that all of his sons are different from each other in terms of qualities, prince Salim is obsessed with royal lifestyle and art, whereas prince Murad thinks that the throne only belongs to him and he is the only one who deserves it.on the other hand Akbar’s third son prince daniyal has no greed for the throne and has pure thoughts.
In between these he gets to know from his advisor that his sons are dealing with tranquility and turmoil among themselves .
Meanwhile Aditi Rao Hydari enters the series in the role of anarkali and gets close to Salim. Then Akbar gets disappointed with this behavior of his son and warns him by saying Badshah banna kiske naseeb mein ho, usse apni khushiyaan kurbaan karni hi padti hai. He also restricts anarkali to maintain the decorum and stay in her place.
