30th March 2023, Mumbai: Chungha, a soloist from South Korea, will no longer perform for MNH Entertainment. The announcement comes as her exclusive deal with the agency is about to expire. The aforementioned information was released by her previous agency via Chungha’s official fan cafe. The agency began the aforementioned release by expressing gratitude to fans for their ongoing love and support for Chungha. The email went on to say that Chungha’s long-term, exclusive agreement with MNH Entertainment—which has lasted seven years—is scheduled to expire next month, on April 29, 2023.
The message then pleaded with the audience to have patience with what would follow. The aforementioned announcement made it known that MNH Entertainment would not be releasing the second half of Chungha’s album, Bare&Rare Pt.2. After finishing by thanking Chungha and her supporters, the letter declared that they would keep supporting her. Chungha’s potential resignation from the organisation first became public knowledge in January. MNH Entertainment stated that the topic was still being discussed in response to the aforementioned news. In July 2022, Chungha had made the debut of her album.
27-year-old South Korean singer Chungha or Kim Chung Ha made her solo debut in 2017. She first made her debut as a member of the girl group I.O.I in 2016, but the group disbanded after only a year. Before returning to her birth country of South Korea to pursue a musical career, Chungha lived in Dallas, Texas for over ten years. She speaks Korean and English well. At Sejong University, Chungha majored in dance. Chungha gave YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment auditions as well before deciding to join MNH Entertainment. She did, in fact, spend a brief time as a trainee at JYP Entertainment. Since her debut, she has published a sizable amount of tracks. She is best known for her songs “Why Don’t You Know,” “Rollercoaster,” and “Snapping.” She has received multiple noteworthy awards for her music, including the “Best K-pop Album” award from the Korean Music Awards and the “Favorite Artist Award” from the Asia Artist Awards.
