Shahid Kapoor played the starring part in the remake of the South movie Jersey last year. The movie, which was directed by the original filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri and was financially supported by Aman Gill, did not have the box office success that was anticipated. In truth, Jersey significantly failed upon release due to the audience’s inability to connect with the film. Now, a year later, Shahid Kapoor has reportedly signed another project with Gill. Shahid Kapoor is already making waves with his OTT series Farzi.
A reliable source in the industry confirmed the same to Bollywood Hungama, “Yes, post Jersey Shahid Kapoor and Aman Gill will be working on a project together. Shahid has already given his nod, and the makers are gearing up to start pre-production work soon.” Ask for more details on the venture and the source continues, “The film will be a drama which is based on a real-life story. That is all that has been revealed so far. As for whose life story the film is based on, the makers and Shahid are keeping a tight lid on things.”
On the work front, On February 10, Amazon Prime Video launched the Shahid Kapoor-starring film Farzi.
