Over the past few months, Salman Khan has been targeted with multiple death threats by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. As a result, the Mumbai Police have granted him Y+ category security. In a recent interview, Khan spoke about how having ‘security is better than insecurity’. He also noted that the threats are so severe that he cannot even ride a bicycle on the streets.
According to Salman Khan in a recent episode of Aap Ki Adalat on India TV, he can no longer ride a bicycle on the road or travel alone due to the serious death threats he has received from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Additionally, the heavy security measures taken to protect him in traffic inconveniences other people, who often give him unwanted attention. Furthermore, Salman expressed concern for his loyal fans who may also be adversely affected by the situation.
Salman Khan further stated that he is following all the instructions given to him by the authorities to ensure his safety. He cited a dialogue from one of his movies, “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” to express the seriousness of the situation. He emphasised that they have to be lucky 100 times, I have to be lucky once’. So, I got to be very careful
Salman Khan acknowledged that fate will ultimately determine what happens, but he emphasized that this does not mean he can move around freely without caution. He noted that he now travels with full security, and even with faith in a higher power, he does not take any unnecessary risks. With the current level of protection around him, he admitted to feeling anxious at times.
Lawrence Bishnoi has been targeting Salman Khan for some time, and the actor recently received a threatening phone call from someone claiming to be ‘Roki Bhai’ from Jodhpur, Rajasthan. However, it was later discovered that the call was made by a 16-year-old from Shahpur, Rajasthan, who was subsequently taken into custody. Khan also reportedly received an email threatening his life as well as that of Rakhi Sawant.
