‘Apni Wife Ke Alawa Har Kisi Ki…’ Ranbir Kapoor TROLLED For Touching Sreeleela’s Waist At An Event

Ranbir Kapoor has found himself at the centre of social media trolling after a photo with Sreeleela went viral. The actor was seen posing with the South star at the launch of his new personal-care brand in Mumbai. Soon, several netizens compared his public body language with his appearances alongside wife Alia Bhatt.

The photo surfaced from the launch event of Flux Theory, Ranbir’s new venture in the personal-care and wellness space. The brand marks another step in the actor’s growing business portfolio outside films.

Ranbir Kapoor and Sreeleela posed together at the Mumbai event, drawing attention online. In the viral picture, Ranbir can be seen wrapping his hand around Sreeleela’s waist as they pose for the cameras.

A Reddit user shared the photo, after which several comments focused on Ranbir’s gesture. One user wrote, “Ranbir apni wife ke alawa har kisi ki waist pakadta hai.”

Another commented, “He literally looks happier with every woman except his wife.”

A third user said, “He never stood this close even with his wife in public. This guy really sucks. If I am in Alia's place he would have seen my wrath for this kind of behaviour.”

One posted, “Man, he looks like Sunny Deol...he looks happy with any women apart from his wife. With Alia...he stands as though he is held hostage.”

Another netizen quipped, “So he is awkward only while posing with Alia? He is not putting his hands in the pocket. This man is ridiculous.”

The comments were directed at Ranbir’s public interaction, with users comparing the picture to his other appearances with Alia. The actor himself has not publicly responded to the trolling.

The trolling comes as Ranbir Kapoor prepares for one of the busiest phases of his film career. His next release is Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One, in which he plays Lord Ram opposite Sai Pallavi’s Sita. The film is scheduled to release on November 6, 2026.

Ranbir will then be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film has completed its shoot and is currently moving into post-production, with its release listed for January 21, 2027.

He is also expected to return as Shiva in Brahmastra 2. Meanwhile, Animal Park, the sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Animal, remains in development. Production on the sequel is expected to begin after Sandeep Reddy Vanga completes Spirit.

Away from films, Ranbir has also expanded his business interests with Flux Theory. The new venture launched with a range of shower-care products built around different moods and versions of the consumer.
