Mumbai, January 13, 2024: In the midst of preparations for their upcoming wedding, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were spotted engaging in prayer at the imitation Ram Mandir’s rath in Mumbai. The couple, rumored to tie the knot in February this year, offered their supplications with folded hands. The replica of the Ram Mandir in Mumbai serves as an alternative for those unable to visit the original in Ayodhya on its inauguration day, slated for January 22.
Following their visit, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani shared a joint post on their Instagram handles, featuring a brief video of their prayer session at the replica Rath. Rakul Preet Singh, adorned in a traditional pastel green outfit, and Jackky Bhagnani, in a yellow kurta pajama, exuded a serene presence. Jackky captioned the video, “Mesmerised with the Ram Mandir Replica Rath. Peaceful and divine. @rakulpreet @shweta_shalini #JaiShreeRam.”
The couple, who officially acknowledged their relationship on Instagram in 2021, has been together for a considerable period. According to reports, they are planning to exchange vows in a private ceremony in Goa on February 22, with close friends from both the Hindi and South Indian film industries in attendance.
Addressing media coverage of their relationship, Rakul Preet Singh emphasized that their love remains unchanged, whether in the public eye or not. She commented, “What I would call love doesn’t change even if it’s in the public eye. It has been the same since I was a teen.”
As per a Hindustan Times report, the wedding is expected to be an intimate affair, with careful consideration given to the decor and theme, reflecting the couple’s personalities. The source mentioned, “They are closely looking into the decor and theme. One thing is certain that it will be close to their identity as individuals, with everything reflecting their character.”
Post her recent Tamil film “Ayalaan,” Rakul Preet Singh has projects like “Meri Patni Ka Remake” and the Kamal Haasan-starrer “Indian 2” in her lineup. Meanwhile, Jackky Bhagnani, an actor turned film producer, recently worked on the film “Ganapath” last year.
