19 May 2023, Mumbai: Neetu Kapoor, the mother-in-law of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, has made headlines with her recent purchase of a luxurious 4 BHK apartment in Mumbai. The apartment, located in the prestigious Bandra Kurla Complex, is worth a whopping Rs 17.4 crores. The news of Neetu Kapoor’s investment comes just weeks after Alia Bhatt herself bought multiple properties in Mumbai. Neetu Kapoor’s new apartment is situated on the 17th floor of the 19-floor Sunteck Realty ultra-luxury project called Signia Isle. The registration documents reveal that she paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.04 crore, and the property was officially registered on May 10. The apartment spans an impressive 3,387 square feet and boasts three car parking areas, adding to its exclusivity and convenience.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt’s real estate ventures have also been making waves. Just a month prior, she invested in two flats in Bandra. The first apartment, covering 2,497 square feet, was acquired for a reported sum of Rs 37.80 crore. This property was purchased by Alia’s production house and is located in the Aerial View Cooperative Housing Society Limited in Pali Hill. Additionally, Shahin Bhatt was gifted two posh Flats in Juhu’s Gigi Apartment, By Alia Bhatt worth Rs. 7.68 Crore.
These extravagant purchases have sparked speculation among netizens. Some have questioned whether Neetu Kapoor’s acquisition was driven by investment motives or if there is an element of jealousy involved, considering her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt’s recent real estate splurge.
