Tanushree Dutta Questions Nana Patekar’s Death News
In her post, Dutta described her temple visit as a coincidence following what she called a positive development in her life. She also alleged that Patekar and his friends had subjected her to harmful spiritual practices. These claims remain her allegations.
She wrote, “What a coincidence that I got to visit Mahakal right after such a positive development in my life. Even though I seriously have my doubts on the authenticity of the death news."

Dutta’s post also included an emotional appeal to Mahakal. She expressed a desire for the difficulties she says she has faced to come to an end and described the strain caused by what she sees as persistent conspiracies.
She wrote, “I cannot fulfill my purpose in the world and I will leave from here if these people still continue to breathe. I want all of them gone and with full confirmation of their demise."
She also described her connection with the deity and the distress she says she has experienced. The actress added, “I cannot take their extreme negativity and persistent conspiracies anymore."
Nana Patekar died at the age of 75 on October 8, 2026, after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Goa. His death was confirmed by his family and the hospital where he was taken. He was cremated with full state honours near Pune on the same day.
