15th March, Mumbai: In 2011, the film Desi Boys with Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, and Chitrangada Singh came out. The film was a modest box office success, and a few months ago it was revealed that Desi Boyz would have a sequel. However, the actors who will appear in it have not yet been formally confirmed.
Anand Pandit is an Indian film producer who has produced several successful films across different languages. As per his statement, he has multiple projects in the pipeline across different languages including Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, South Indian languages, and Hindi.
In Hindi, he has announced the sequels of two of his successful films – “Desi Boyz” and “The Big Bull”. “Desi Boyz 2” is expected to be a comedy-drama film
Anand Pandit has also mentioned that he has completed a patriotic film titled “Veer Savarkar”.
According to Anand Pandit’s statement, the cast of “Desi Boyz 2” will depend on the script and the film’s requirements. He has mentioned that he wants to make the film a younger one, which might indicate that there could be a possibility of a new cast or a mix and match of the old and new cast.
While Anand Pandit did not confirm if Akshay Kumar and John Abraham would return in “Desi Boyz 2”,
Unfortunately, it appears that we will have to wait a few more months to learn who will play the lead roles in Desi Boys 2.
That’s interesting to hear! Anand Pandit seems to be expanding the reach of his upcoming Kannada movie Kabzaa by planning a pan-India release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. This strategy will not only increase the audience base but also create more opportunities for the movie to perform well at the box office.
