Fans of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar may have another reason to celebrate now that the first look from his upcoming Marathi film “Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat” has been released. However, the first look is drawing criticism due to one obvious flaw.
A chandelier is also visible in the picture of Akshay Kumar acting as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Here’s the catch, though. The rim of the chandelier is covered in light bulbs. The joke is being made since Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who ruled from 1630 to 1680, lived long after the invention of the bulb.
One user commented, “What was the cinematographer even thinking while lighting up that scene.”
Another wrote, “The focus puller missed that by light’ years.”
Then there’s one use who wrote, “They’re making a period film and they messed up with the timeline. Some research would be good.”
The good news is that, as long as they are receptive to criticism from the target audience, the filmmakers can learn from social media and correct the production flaw.
