This was disclosed by Anurag Kashyap himself on Kapil Sharma’s show, when the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ reached his show. The film’s actor Piyush Mishra says that until someone is arrested on the shoot of any of Anurag’s films, it does not seem that the shooting of any film is going on. Meanwhile, Anurag also mentioned about the shoot of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ and told that Vicky Kaushal was arrested during the shooting of the film. But what happened after all that Vicky was arrested.
Kapil Sharma had recently invited the film’s team on his show on the occasion of completion of 10 years of the release of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. During this, actors Manoj Bajpayee, Pankaj Tripathi, Huma Qureshi and Piyush Mishra were also present on the set along with director Anurag Kashyap. On this special occasion, actor Piyush also mentioned Anurag’s film making style. During this, Anurag also revealed about Vicky Kaushal being arrested on the sets of the film. The director said, “one of the most special things of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, the raw scenes of illegal mining, which are absolutely real. The scene of illegal sand mining in the film, the local mafia was doing illegal sand mining there and we had reached there with the camera. In such a situation, Vicky Kaushal and a member of the unit were arrested.”
Actor Piyush Mishra said that every time he thinks that he will not work with Anurag again. But after seeing the specialty of the script of the next film, they agree again. Piyush told the reason for this is Anurag’s film making style which is quite tremendous. He explains that nothing in Anurag’s film is pre-decided, be it script or scene. Along with this, Piyush also told that it is very common for the police to come on the shoots of Anurag’s films.
