The infamous fight between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerji featured Salman Khan destroying property, Shah Rukh Khan, and other unusual elements.

In Bollywood, friendships and disagreements go hand in hand. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerji were once close friends, but their friendship quickly soured when Rani took Aish’s place in the film Chalte Chalte. The movie’s male lead, Shah Rukh Khan, was entangled in a fight with the Devdas actress’s rumoured ex-boyfriend Salman Khan.

Salman apparently damaged some props on the Chalte Chalte set, which for obvious reasons didn’t sit well with the production company. Aish was subsequently replaced by Rani, and the rest is history. Not only that, but Khan also produced a significant amount of set drama, which at the time sparked one of the biggest controversies.

According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was abruptly fired without even being asked before being replaced. According to Her, she felt betrayed by Shah Rukh Khan as well as the production crew because he had Rani Mukerji replace her in the movie. Officially, neither actress has ever disparaged the other at a press conference or other public setting. All of Rani’s fans were shocked when she secretly wed YRF founder Aditya Chopra in Italy later that year.

The Chalte Chalte actress once responded to the question of which Bollywood actress she liked best by saying, “From my generation, Aishwarya and Preity Zinta.”

Lets assume All’s well that ends well.
