Deepika Padukone’s orange bikini generated a lot of excitement after the debut of Pathaan’s first song, Besharam Rang. On social media, several criticised the creators for employing a “saffron” bikini, even if her supporters appreciated her in the bold avatar. Many individuals urged that the song’s bikini’s colour be changed, including Madhya Pradesh minister Dr. Narottam Mishra.
The Pathaan cast has kept quiet about the incident, but the movie’s creators have refused to change it. Apparently, the orange bikini from the song was preserved in the film. However, the song has only undergone minor alterations.
Deepika stated that she put in additional effort for Besharam Rang in a recent interview that was shared by Yash Raj Films. “I had to put in a lot more effort for Besharam Rang. That is, in a sense, my solo song. The setting where we were filming was very challenging. Even though the music has a really sunny, bright, and lovely vibe, the weather outside was actually very chilly and windy. Thus, it was quite difficult for us to work, but nevertheless we managed to make it seem like it was sunny and gorgeous, she said.
Since the beginning of the month, Deepika Padukone’s orange swimsuit in the song “Besharam Rang” has caused Pathaan to be in the news for all the wrong reasons. They said that it offended religious sensitivities, and this led to a significant uproar.
Later, when the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cut list was leaked, it was revealed that some sensual dancing moves in “Besharam Rang” had been cut. Many people propagated the rumour that this proves all images of the orange bikini were deleted from Pathaan’s final version.
However, we can reassure you that’s not the case now that the movie has been released. There are plenty of pictures of Deepika Padukone sporting sizzling orange swimsuit. In fact, that particular shot is essential to the story as well, so it couldn’t have been cut short.
The close-up images of Deepika Padukone’s buttocks and the “side position (partial nudity)” have been edited out, as noted in the list of changes.
