Diljit Dosanjh answered some interesting questions at the Netflix Films Day.

Netlfix Films Day took place yesterday where a number of actors and film makers spoke about their upcoming projects interacting with the media. ‘Jogi’ starring Diljit Dosanjh is one of the upcoming films on Netflix. 

Ali Abbas Zafar was present at the event while, Diljit joined live straight from the US and shared some interesting things about the movie. The trailer of ‘Jogi’ is released today and people are already loving it. While interacting, When asked “What according to you is the spirit of Jogi?” to which the answer came up was, “It is a story of friends and most importantly it is a visualised reality!” 

Ali Abbas Zafar, the film maker, was also being interrogated and was asked, “How did the story of Jogi come to you?” “I am basically from Delhi and i’ve seen alot of chaos happening. The story touches your heart in many ways. To find hope in the time of chaos is what you’ll grasp from the film.” he answered. Ali Abbas Zafar has been making and producing films since a long time. Gunday, Tiger Zinda hai, Sultan, Dear Zindagi are some of his works that fans love the most! 

Diljit Dosanjh opened up more about his character in the film and shared some intense moments about how his mind was already full of thoughts when he was playing the character. He was later interrogated, “What made you say yes to this movie?” to which he replied, “I had no reason to say a No” within a millisecond. 

The film is set during the Amid tension in 1980s India where three friends of different faiths unite in a noble yet dangerous effort to save hundreds in their town. Diljit Dosanjh, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub are starring this Stirring drama which will come out on 16th September on Netflix.
