22nd February, Mumbai: Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is one of the largest Indian movies, and there is no disputing that it is now one of the most awaited movies. The unversed’s teaser received some shockingly unfavourable feedback, and the moment that happened, the film’s creators said that they would be working on the project and urged a postponement. Editor Ashish Mhatre now provides insight into the masterpiece.
After receiving unfavourable reviews from all over, whether they were about the VFX or Saif Ali Khan’s appearance as Raavan, the producers announced the film’s postponement in order to rework it. The magnum opus is set for release on June 16, 2023, according to the most recent update. There have been rumours that significant modifications are being made, and now the film’s editor is providing an update.
Adipurush editor Ashish Mhatre said to ETimes that there haven’t been any significant alterations made to the movie. “We have not made any alterations in the film post the criticism, we did the film which was planned already. We did some changes whenever a demand came for any particular scene but otherwise, there have been no major changes in the film. We are following the same way from where we started the film because we have not made any mistake in the first place, that needs rectification,” he stated.
He even said that when the early responses to the teaser started coming in, the whole Adipurush team was in complete amazement. He also conceded that whatever message they were trying to get across to the audience fell flat.
