The diva of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut, is now preparing for the much anticipated movie, Emergency. In the film, the actor will take on the role of former Prime Minister Gandhi. Kangana is not only the movie’s star but also its director. Kangana recently welcomed her Guru and theatre director Arvind Gaur for a cameo in the next movie after unveiling the main cast of her second directing endeavour.
Through her Instagram stories, Kangana Ranaut recently posted some images of herself and Arvind Gaur grinning together. Kangana could be seen in the pictures clutching Gaur’s hand while they talked. In a white salwar suit, the Thalaivii actor looked stunning. Kangana shared the images and explained how she asked Gaur, who served as her mentor when she was 16, to make a cameo appearance in her next project.
She wrote, “Today I have the great fortune of directing my acting guru @arvindgaur_ ji who mentored me at the age of 16…”. the Tanu Weds Manu actor added, “I requested sir for a cameo in my directorial Emergency and here is he with me.” In another story, Kangana gave an introduction to Gaur and wrote, “@arvindgaur_ ji is a great theatre director… directing the director today”.
The former prime minister Indira Gandhi will be played by Kangana Ranaut in the upcoming movie Emergency. Shreyas Talpade will play former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Bollywood legend Anupam Kher will play Jayaprakash Narayan in the production. Sam Manekshw will be played by Milind Soman, and Pupul Jayakar will be played by Mahima Chaudhry.
