29 May 2023, Mumbai: Actor Prabhas and Kriti Sanon have once again mesmerized fans with the release of a heart-wrenching song from the album of Adipurush. Titled “Ram Siya Ram,” the music beautifully portrays the love and separation of Raghav and Janki, the central characters of the film. The song takes viewers on a journey, starting with the sweet romance between Raghav and Janki, who despite being exiled from their kingdom, lead a happy life. However, fate intervenes and Janki is taken away from her beloved husband, Raghav, leaving her yearning for a reunion that is bound to evoke tears.
The song also offers glimpses into Raghav’s relentless struggle to bring back his wife. Viewers witness the formation of his loyal ‘vanar sena’ and his collaboration with Hanuman for the challenging mission. Furthermore, the song showcases the beautiful moment when Raghav and Janki finally reunite after several years, leaving audiences captivated by the emotions and the execution of the scene. “Ram Siya Ram” not only ignites spiritual vibes but also highlights the endearing romance between Raghav and Janki. Adipurush, an adaptation of the epic Ramayana, masterfully captures the essential chronicles of the era. Prabhas portrays the role of Raghav (also known as Ram), while Kriti Sanon essays the character of Janki (also known as Sita). Initially slated for release in January, the film faced criticism due to the quality of its visual effects after the teaser was unveiled. The filmmakers took the feedback to heart and director Om Raut worked diligently to enhance the VFX, leading to a delay in the release date. Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is now set to hit the big screens on June 16, 2023, offering an epic cinematic experience that fans eagerly anticipate.
