Tamim Iqbal Khan born 20 March 1989, more commonly known as Tamim Iqbal, is a Bangladeshi former international cricketer and commentator. from Chittagong who was captain of the national team in ODI matches from 2020 to 2023. He is the first Bangladeshi cricketer to score a century in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup in the 2016 edition, scoring 103 not out, the highest score made by a Bangladeshi at any T20 World Cup tournament.

Tamim Iqbal, a left-handed opening batsman for the Bangladesh national cricket team, made his ODI and Test debut in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and is known for his record as Bangladesh's highest run-scorer in international cricket, with over 15,000 runs across all formats. He also holds the record for the most centuries in ODI cricket for Bangladesh and was the highest run-scorer in the 2016 T20 World Cup.
