Aravind Srinivas

Aravind Srinivas born in 1994 in chennai he is an alumnus of IIT-Madras, who completed his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr Srinivas began his career as a research intern at OpenAI, later holding similar roles at major tech companies like Google and DeepMind.

He is the co-founder and CEO of Perplexity AI, an AI search engine. He looks good with a standing height of 5ft8in.

Aravind is an Indian computer programmer, researcher, and scientist, as well as the CEO and co-founder of Perplexity.ai. He grew up in Chennai and studied Electrical Engineering at IIT Madras. Srinivas started his career as a research intern at OpenAI and later interned at Google's DeepMind and later Google itself.

Srinivas built his expertise at AI powerhouses like OpenAI, Google, and DeepMind before co-founding Perplexity in 2022 alongside Andy Konwinski, Denis Yarats, and Johnny Ho.Before co-founding Perplexity, Srinivas worked as a research scientist at OpenAI, Google, and DeepMind, building expertise in AI. 

• Aravind Srinivas was a student who received scholarships from the Department of Science and Technology's Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana and the Government of India's National Talent Search (NTS) Scheme.
• During his school years, he won the merit prize in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), which was supervised by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM).
• He claims that when he was accepted to the Indian Institute of Technology Madras to study electrical engineering rather than computer science, he became despondent.
• Because his Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) was 0.01 below the acceptable threshold after the first semester, he was unable to change his department.
