21st March,2024, Mumbai: Since his first release, Indian actor Vedang Raina has had a notable increase in fame. He made his debut in the business with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies in December of last year. Rising Bollywood actors Alizeh Agnihotri, Vedang Raina, Rajveer Deol, and Palak Tiwari addressed the stage to talk about their goals and experiences in films thus far on the second day of CNN News18’s Rising Bharat Summit.
Vedang talked about having an influential debut with well-known star children such as Suhana Khan, the daughter of Shah Rukh Khan, Khushi Kapoor, the late Sridevi, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. “Kabhi aisa feel karaya bhi nahi gaya and mujhe aisa kabhi feel nahi hua,” he remarked.
Vedang Raina on his involvement in The Archies with star kids
Vedang Raina also graciously acknowledged his attendance at the CNN News18 Rising Bharat Summit during a recent on-stage interview. He talked about his memorable start in The Archies with prominent star kids like Suhana Khan, the daughter of late Sridevi, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan.
Vedang said that he wasn’t made to feel that way and that he didn’t feel that way. The actor clarified that being on film sets and being a part of a movie was already a huge deal for him. Regarding the people he was working with, he had no thoughts at all. The actor voiced his conviction that it seemed like a bunch of friends working hard on a film, given that they were all debutantes.
We all felt like way since it was our first film, so we didn’t have any dynamics, and since we were on this adventure together, hum sab apni pehli film kar rahe the toh aisa feel hi nahi hua ki. Seven days later, ek saath mehnat karke film bana rahe hain, aisa laga ki bas hum dost hain. Mujhe kabhi aisa feel nahi karaya gaya ki (it seemed as though seven buddies were putting in a lot of effort to create a movie). I work with folks that have such a vast legacy—I wasn’t made to feel that way. He remarked, “I felt at home.”
Vedang was seen playing Reggie in his feature debut
In addition, he will soon be featured in the much awaited Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala and starring Alia Bhatt, with co-production from Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt. It is anticipated that Vedang will play Alia’s younger brother in the movie, which is billed as being about the bond between brothers.
